Ballot Drop Box and Vote Center Locations Posted

Voter Registration and Elections (VRE) has posted the list of Ballot Drop Box and Vote Center locations for November 3, 2026, General Election on the VRE website at elections.saccounty.gov.

Vote by Mail ballots will be mailed to voters beginning Monday, October 5, 2026. Ballot Drop Boxes will begin opening Monday, October 5, 2026, and Vote Centers will begin opening Saturday, October 24. A complete list of Ballot Drop Box and Vote Center locations and days and hours of operation can be found at:

Key Election Dates

Date	Event
Monday, October 5	Mailing of ballots to all registered voters begins
Monday, October 5	Voted Ballots may be returned in any of the Ballot Drop Boxes throughout the county
Monday, October 19	Close of voter registration for this election. Voter registration forms must be postmarked by this date or delivered to the VRE Office at 7000 65th Street, Suite A, Sacramento 95283 by 5:00 p.m. Online voter registration must be complete before midnight on this date at www.registertovote.ca.gov
Monday, October 20	Conditional Voter Registration (CVR) begins
Monday, October 24	11 Day Vote Centers Open
Monday, October 27	Last day a Vote by Mail (VBM) ballot can be mailed to you. After this date, VBM ballots are only available the the VRE Office or a Vote Center
Saturday, October 31	All Vote Centers open throughout the County
Tuesday, November 3	Election Day
