High School Mock Elections Conclude

Encouraging high school students to participate in the election process

Sacramento County Voter Registration and Elections has successfully concluded administering 19 High School Mock Elections at schools throughout the County. In the course of the year 4,417 students participated in the Mock Election program and 328 of these students registered or pre-registered to vote.

Key Election Dates

Date	Event
Monday, October 5	Mailing of ballots to all registered voters begins
Monday, October 5	Voted Ballots may be returned in any of the Ballot Drop Boxes throughout the county
Monday, October 19	Close of voter registration for this election. Voter registration forms must be postmarked by this date or delivered to the VRE Office at 7000 65th Street, Suite A, Sacramento 95283 by 5:00 p.m. Online voter registration must be complete before midnight on this date at https://registertovote.ca.gov
Tuesday, October 20	Conditional Voter Registration (CVR) begins
Saturday, October 24	11 Day Vote Centers Open
Tuesday, October 27	Last day a Vote by Mail (VBM) ballot can be mailed to you. After this date, VBM ballots are only available the the VRE Office or a Vote Center
Saturday, October 31	All Vote Centers open throughout the County
Tuesday, November 3	Election Day
