What to Expect
Election Day
The initial results will be released by 8:15 pm on election night, Tuesday, June 2, 2026, and will include Vote by Mail and Vote Center ballots that are returned and processed through Monday, June 1, 2026 (EC§§ 15150, 15152).
The second update, will include results from the Vote Centers on Election Day, and will be issued by 10:15 pm, with subsequent updates occurring approximately every two hours, if needed, until all Vote Centers have reported (EC§ 15151(b)).

Until Certification
The first interim update will be posted by 4:15 pm on Friday, June 5, 2026 and will contain results from Vote by Mail ballots and provisional ballots received timely. Subsequent updates will be updated every Tuesday and Friday until certification which shall not be sooner than Tuesday, July 2, 2026 (EC 15375(c)).
All ballots received timely, with those exceptions provided in EC 15307(b), shall be included in the update posted on Monday, June 15, 2026.
