Voting has Officially Begun


Voter Registration and Elections (VRE) has delivered Vote by Mail (VBM) ballots to the U.S. Postal Service for distribution to all currently registered voters in the City of Isleton Special District for the November 2, 2021, City of Isleton Fire Protection Services Transaction and Use Tax Special Election.

Voters in the District may use the Ballot Drop Box at Isleton City Hall to return their ballot. VRE also has a drive-through Ballot Drop Box in their parking lot at 7000 65th Street, Sacramento. This Ballot Drop Box is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and until 8:00 p.m. on Election Night.

City of Isleton voters are encouraged to return their ballots early and sign their pink VBM envelope in order for their ballot to be counted. No postage is necessary for voters returning their ballots by U.S. Mail using the pink Vote by Mail envelope.

Mailing of ballots to all registered voters in the City of Isleton Special District begins

Voted ballots may be returned in the Ballot Drop Box at Isleton City Hall Monday – Friday, 8:00 am to 12:00 pm, and 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm, including Election Day. The Isleton City Hall Drop Box will be closed on October 11. The Voter Registration and Elections Office Drop Box is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and until 8:00 p.m. on Election Night

Monday, October 18

Close of voter registration for the Special Election. Voter registration forms must be postmarked by this date or delivered to the VRE Office at 7000 65th Street, Suite A, Sacramento 95823 by 5:00 p.m. Online voter registration must be completed before midnight on this date at

Tuesday, October 19

Conditional Voter Registration (CVR) begins

Tuesday, October 27

Last day a Vote by Mail (VBM) ballot can be mailed to you. After this date, VBM ballots are only available at the VRE Office during regular business hours, or at the Isleton Vote Center, open Election Day only

Tuesday, November 2

Election Day: The Vote Center at the Isleton Community Center will be open Election Day from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
