RESPONSE TO RECALL BALLOT ENVELOPE RUMORS
Sacramento County Department of Voter Registration and Elections has recently learned of a video that has surfaced online of a recall ballot, that when folded and placed back in the return envelope, shows how a person has voted on the first question on the ballot.
This ballot and envelope are NOT from Sacramento County – and the Sacramento County ballot and pink return envelope do not have this issue – while there are holes in the envelope to help guide blind voters to the signature line, they do not reveal any of the contests, regardless of how the ballot is folded and placed in the envelope.
