Registrar of Voters Jill LaVine announced today that the canvass of the vote for the November 8, 2016 Presidential General Election has been completed. Final results are posted online at www.elections.saccounty.net.

“Voter turnout for the General Election in Sacramento County was 74.5%,” said LaVine.  “More voters are choosing to cast their ballots by mail.”

Presidential General Election Facts

•    772,777 - Registered Voters in Sacramento
•    74.5% – Total voter turnout
•    34% - Voted at the Polling Place
•    66% - Voted by Mail
