Nomination Period for
November 8, 2016 Presidential General Election
Extended For Offices in Sacramento County
The nomination period for the following local offices that are scheduled to be voted upon at the November 8, 2016 Presidential General Election in Sacramento County have been extended until 5:00 p.m., August 17, 2016. The extension is only applicable to candidates other than the incumbent.
The nomination period is still open for the following local offices:

Los Rios Community College District, Area 7
Sierra Joint Community College District, Areas 4 and 7
Schools
Elverta Joint Elementary School District
Folsom Cordova Unified School District
Natomas Unified School District
River Delta Unified School District, Area 4
Roseville Joint Union High School District
Sacramento City Unified School District, Areas 4 and 5
San Juan Unified School District

Persons wishing to run for these offices must file their completed nomination papers at the Voter Registration and Elections Office at 7000 65th Street, Suite A, Sacramento, by 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 17, 2016.
