Nomination Period Extended for Local Offices
in Sacramento County
The nomination period for the following local offices that are scheduled to be voted upon at the November 3, 2020, Presidential General Election in Sacramento County have been extended until 5:00 p.m. on August 12, 2020. The extension is only applicable to candidates other than the incumbent.
The Nomination Period is still open for the following offices:

Elk Grove Unified School District, Area 3
Sacramento City Unified School District, Areas 4 and 5
Roseville Joint Union High School
Arcohe Union School District - Full Term
Elverta Joint Elementary School District
Galt Joint Union Elementary School District
Special Districts
Courtland Fire Protection District
Pacific Fruitridge Fire Protection District – Full Term
River Delta Fire Protection District
Carmichael Water District, Division 1
Del Paso Manor Water District – Full Term
Del Paso Manor Water District – Short Term
Florin County Water District
Arcade Creek Recreation and Park District
Arden Manor Recreation and Park District
Arden Park Recreation and Park District
North Highlands Recreation and Park District
Persons wishing to run for these offices must file their completed nomination papers at the Voter Registration and Elections Office at 7000 65th Street, Suite A, Sacramento, California, by 5:00 p.m. on August 12, 2019. Online Appointment Scheduling is available on our website. Appointments are available from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday excluding holidays.
