STATEWIDE DIRECT PRIMARY ELECTION UPDATE
Nomination Period Extended for Local Offices
In Sacramento County


The nomination period ​for the following local offices that are scheduled to be voted upon
at the June 7, 2022, Statewide Direct Primary Election in Sacramento County has been extended until 5:00 p.m. on March 16, 2022. The extension is only applicable to candidates other than the incumbent.

The Nomination Period is still open for the following local offices:


​​Board Of Supervisors, District 5
District Attorney
Sheriff​
​​​Judge of the Superior Court, Office No. 4​
Judge of the Superior Court, Office No. 22
Sacramento county Board of Education, Area 2

Persons wishing to run for these offices must file their completed nomination papers at the Voter Registration and Elections Office at 7000 65th Street, Suite A, Sacramento, California, by 5:00 p.m. on March 16, 2022. For more information, contact Karen Startup (916) 875-6365.
