Presidential Primary Election Update
Voter Service Centers
Registrar of Voters, Jill LaVine announces new for this election four Voter Service Centers where voters can pick up or drop off Vote by Mail ballots and mark Vote by Mail ballots with an accessible voting machine. The Voter Service Centers are located at the following:
- Carmichael Library Community Room
5605 Marconi Ave, Carmichael 95608 - Central Library (Downtown)
828 I Street, Room 409, 4th Floor
Sacramento 95814
- Elk Grove City Council Chambers
8400 Laguna Palms Way, Elk Grove 95824 - Sacramento County Election Office
7000 65th Street, Suite A, Sacramento 95823
Any interested voters should note that the above locations will be open on the following dates and times only:
- Saturdays: May 28 & June 4 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Sundays: May 29 & June 5 from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
“Due to the overwhelming amount of voters who are requesting Vote by Mail ballots, we will be operating these Voter Service Centers before the election for voters to have the opportunity to drop off or pick up a Vote by Mail ballot” says LaVine.
Key Election Dates
May 23 – Last day to register to vote in the June 7 Presidential Primary Election. Voter registration forms must be mailed (postmarked by this date) or delivered to the Elections Office, 7000 65th Street, Suite A, Sacramento 95823.
May 31 – Last day to request a vote by mail ballot be mailed to you for the June 7 Election. Call 916-875-6155 for information.
June 7 – Presidential Primary Election. Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
