Presidential Primary Election Update

Last Day to Register for June 7 Election


 

Registrar of Voters Jill LaVine reminds Sacramento County residents that today, Monday, May 23 is the last day to register to vote or change your party. You can register online at www.registertovote.ca.gov; get a registration form on the Secretary of State’s website or pick-up a voter registration card at most libraries, post offices or the Elections Office, 7000 65th Street, Suite A, Sacramento 95823.

It is important that your voter registration form is filled out completely, signed and postmarked by today May 23, or hand-delivered to the Elections Office by midnight tonight.

Key Election Dates


May 23 – Last day to register to vote in the June 5 Statewide Presidential Primary Election.
May 31 – Last day to request a vote by mail ballot be mailed to you for the June 7 election. Call (916) 875-6155 for information.
June 7 – Presidential Primary Election. Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
