Presidential Primary Election Update
INCREASE IN VOTER REGISTRATION
Jill LaVine, Sacramento County Registrar of Voters, said, “We have seen a steady increase in the number of registrations, and we are now at the highest number of registered voters for an election for Sacramento County. As of today there are 700,788 registered voters. Since April 8 we have seen an increase of 9,513 voters.
“It is exciting to see the enthusiasm of our County’s residents, and we are looking forward to a high number of voters participating in the June Presidential Primary Election.”
Key Election Dates
May 23 – Last day to register to vote in the June 7 Presidential Primary Election. Voter registration forms must be mailed (postmarked by this date) or delivered to the Elections Office, 7000 65th Street, Suite A, Sacramento 95823. Online voter registration must be completed before midnight on this date. www.registertovote.ca.gov
May 31 – Last day to request a vote by mail ballot be mailed to you for the June 7 election. Call (916) 875-6155 for information.
June 7 – Presidential Primary Election. Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
