TRANSACTION AND USE TAX SPECIAL ELECTION UPDATE
Manual Tally Scheduled for Monday, November 8, 2021
Public and media are invited to observe the manual tally.
Voter Registration and Elections (VRE) will be performing a 100% manual tally on all ballots received by 8:00 p.m. on Election Day for the City of Isleton Fire Protection Services Transaction and Use Tax Special Election. The manual tally process validates the tabulation of ballots generated by the electronic voting equipment before certifying election results.
Members of the community interested in observing this process may contact Karen Startup at (916) 875-6365 or email startupk@saccounty.net . The manual tally will begin at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, November 8, at the Elections Office.
