​CITY OF ISLETON FIRE PROTECTION SERVICES
TRANSACTION AND USE TAX SPECIAL ELECTION

County Voter Information Guide Mailed

​The Voter Registration and Elections (VRE) Office has begun mailing the County Voter Information Guide (CVIG) for the November 2, 2021, City of Isleton Fire Protection Services Transaction and Use Tax Special Election to registered voters within the District.

These registered voters can expect their CVIG to arrive in their mailboxes in the next week. It will include Ballot Drop Box and Vote Center locations. Voters that have 'opted out' of receiving a paper version of the C​VIG may view it on the VRE website.

Mailing of ballots to all registered voters in the City of Isleton Special District begins

Voted ballots may be returned in the Ballot Drop Box at Isleton City Hall or The Voter Registration and Elections office. See the VRE​ website​ for hours of operation for the Isleton City Hall location. The VRE Drop Box is open 24/7 until 8:00 p.m. on Election Night

Monday, October 18

Close of voter registration for the November 2, 2021 City of Isleton Special Election. Voter registration forms must be postmarked by this date or delivered to the VRE Office at 7000 65th Street, Suite A, Sacramento 95823 by 5:00 p.m. Online voter registration must be completed before midnight on this date at www.registertovote.ca.gov

Tuesday, October 19

Conditional Voter Registration (CVR) begins

Tuesday, October 27

Last day a Vote by Mail (VBM) ballot can be mailed to Voters in the Special District. After this date, VBM ballots are only available at the VRE Office or at the Isleton Vote Center

Tuesday, November 2

Election Day: The Vote Center at the Isleton Community Center will be open Election Day from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. for in ​person voting
