County Voter Information Guide
Mailed to Sacramento County Registered Voters


The Voter Registration and Elections (VRE) Office has begun mailing the County Voter Information Guide (CVIG) for the June 7, 2022, Statewide Direct Primary Election to Sacramento County registered voters. The
VRE Office printed more than 815,807 Guides in English, Spanish, Chinese and Vietnamese.

Registered voters can expect the CVIGs to begin arriving in their mailboxes this week. It will include Ballot Drop Box and Vote Center locations, local candidate statements, measures on the voter's ballot, and important dates and information. Voters that have 'opted out' of receiving a paper version of the CVIG may view it on the VRE website beginning May 9, 2022.

Voted ballots may be returned in any of the Ballot Drop Boxes located throughout the County

Monday, May 23   

Close of voter registration for this election. Voter registration forms must be postmarked by this date or delivered to the VRE Office at 7000 65th Street, Suite A, Sacramento, CA 95823 by 5:00 p.m. Online voter registration must be completed before midnight on this date at www.registertovote.ca.gov

Tuesday, May 24   

Conditional Voter Registration (CVR) begins

Saturday, May 28   

11 Day Vote Centers open

Tuesday, May 31  

Last day a Vote by Mail (VBM) ballot can be mailed to you. After this date, VBM ballots are only available at the VRE Office or at any of the 87 Vote Centers

Saturday, June 4   

All Vote Centers open throughout the County
