The nomination period for the following local offices that are scheduled to be voted upon at the June 2, 2026 Statewide Direct Primary Election in Sacramento County has been extended until 5:00 p.m., March 11, 2026. The extension is only applicable to candidates other than the incumbent.
The Nomination Period is still open for the following local offices:
Board of Supervisors, District 1
County Board of Education, Trustee Area 1
Twin Rivers Unified School District, Trustee Area 6
Persons wishing to run for these offices must file their completed nomination papers at the Voter Registration and Elections Office at 7000 65th Street, Suite A, Sacramento, by 5:00 p.m. on March 11, 2026. For more information, contact Campaign Services at (916) 875-6276.
