​ASSEMBLY DISTRICT 11 SPECIAL PRIMARY ELECTION UPDATE
Voting has Officially Begun


Voter Registration and Elections (VRE) has delivered Vote by Mail (VBM) ballots to the U.S. Postal Service for distribution to all currently registered voters in Assembly District 11 for the Assembly District 11 Special Primary Election.

Voters in the District may use the Ballot Drop Box at the Walnut Grove Library to return their ballot. VRE also has a drive-through Ballot Drop Box in their parking lot at 7000 65th Street, Sacramento. This Ballot Drop Box is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and until 8:00 p.m. on Election Night.

Voters are encouraged to return their ballots early and sign their pink VBM envelope in order for their ballot to be counted. No postage is necessary for voters returning their ballots by U.S. Mail using the pink Vote by Mail envelope.

Mailing of ballots to all registered voters in Assembly District 11 begins​​

Monday, March 7Voted ballots may be returned in the Ballot Drop Box at the Walnut Grove Library, 14177 Market Street, or The Voter Registration and Elections Office, 7000 65th St, Ste A. The Walnut Grove Library Ballot Drop Box is open Tuesday through Saturday, 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm, closed March 31. Election Day hours are 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm. The VRE Drop Box location is open 24/7 until 8:00 p.m. on Election Night
Monday, March 21Close of voter registration for the April 5, 2022, Assembly District 11 Special Primary Election. Voter registration forms must be postmarked by this date or delivered to the VRE Office at 7000 65th Street, Suite A, Sacramento 95823 by 5:00 p.m. Online voter registration must be completed before midnight on this date at www.registertovote.ca.gov
Tuesday, March 22Conditional Voter Registration (CVR) begins
Saturday, March 26The Vote Center at the Walnut Grove Library, 14177 Market Street, is open through Election Day, between the hours of 9:00 am to 5:00 pm for in-person voting. Election Day hours are 7:00 am to 8:00 pm.
Tuesday, March 29Last day a Vote by Mail (VBM) ballot can be mailed to Voters in the Special District. After this date, VBM ballots are only available at the VRE Office or at the Isleton Vote Center
Tuesday, April 5Election Day: The Vote Center at the Walnut Grove Library, 14177 Market Street, is open Election Day from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. for in-person voting
